Ontario’s Special Investigations Unit is investigating how a 44-year-old man suffered a fractured femur and ankle.

Hamilton Police arrested the man, who was intoxicated, around 9:00pm after he was reported to be fighting with other passengers on a HSR bus in the area of Stinson Street and Erie Avenue.

The man was taken to Central Station, where it became known he was injured. He was then taken to St. Joseph’s.

The SIU is asking witnesses to contact the lead investigator at 1-800-787-8529 ext. 2150.
