A Hamilton Police officer observed three people in a drug deal this afternoon in the west part of Downtown, the three were arrested after ‘personal use’ amounts of crystal meth were found.
Around 1:30 p.m. an Hamilton Police officer in an unmarked vehicle observed a drug deal in progress.
Hamilton Police spokesperson Constable Greg Slack says the officer followed the suspect’s vehicle and it was soon after stopped.
“Three occupants were arrested and found in possession of ‘personal use’ amounts of crystal meth,” Cst. Slack says.
All three are at Central Police Station for processing.
Cst. Slack says they will be released on promise to appear.
