I rather enjoy Gawker articles, but I don’t actually follow the site and only visit when I link from someone’s tweet.
On Thursday, media types went wild with glee linking to the Gawker smackdown of NYT’s profile of two rich teens. It’s an amusing read, drooling with sarcasm and disdain, but lacking insight.
The real pleasure of reading this article is getting to the comments, specifically this one:

Yeah, if you’re going to smackdown another publication for frivolous journalism, you should first check that your publication didn’t beat them to the “story” first.
