City Council Meeting: Pedestrian Mobility Plan and Complete Streets [Live 5pm]

IMG00456-20101013-1946The Pedestrian Mobility Plan is the topic of conversation at Hamilton City Council’s first Council meeting of November.

The plan – all 244-pages masterfully summarized by Sara Mayo on RTH in two parts (one, two) – was approved by Council last Wednesday in General Issues Committee with discussion saved until the Council meeting due to time constraints.

Complete Streets will form part of the discussion today as well.

Also on the agenda: Building permit staff, mobility devices in bike lanes, and waiving fees for community groups participating in Winterfest.

Live coverage starts at 5pm, follow @JoeyColemanLIVE and watch the Livestream here.
