Hamilton Police Seeking Suspect in Attempted Murder - Considered Dangerous
MILLIGAN is described by police as “male, white, 6’4”, 270 lbs., dark coloured goatee, short dark hair with a receding hairline.”
If seen, the public is asked to call 9-1-1 and not approach the suspect.
On April 14, 2014 at approximately 1:00 p.m., members of Hamilton Police and Emergency Medical Services responded to the area of Francis Street and Douglas Avenue, Hamilton, regarding a report of an assault. A 23 year old male victim was located in the area and was found to be in medical distress. He had obvious injuries which were caused by blunt force trauma. He was transported to hospital where he received urgent medical treatment. He had been in critical condition but has now improved and he is expected to survive.
The Homicide Unit conducted an investigation into the circumstances surrounding this vicious assault. It has been determined that this was a targeted attack and not a random act. A male, who investigators believe did not personally know the Victim, has now been identified as the person responsible for this violent attack and a Warrant for his arrest has been issued:
Wanted: Edward MILLIGAN, 34 years of Grimsby

Charge: Attempted Murder
